Zinkwazi Beach House is self-catering beachfront accommodation based in the town of Zinkwazi Beach which is a cosy fishermen’s village. We have the magical Indian Ocean at our doorstep and the lagoon which is great for water sport enthusiasts. A booze cruise is available on the lagoon provided by local skipper Bryan who can also arrange fishing charters. For fishing enthusiast, the Zinkwazi beach club is situated on the beach.

The self-catering beach cottage is also a perfect stop after a break in the bush as it is conveniently situated approximately 2 1/2 hours from our major Game reserves in KwaZulu-Natal. The kids will be highly entertained. There is also the lovely birdwalk in the Dlinza forest in Eshowe to visit.

The buzz of Ballito is 20 minutes away with an array of shopping malls and a little further South towards Durban you will find the Gateway shopping mall should you need a break from the beach.

From the delightful country Cafe’, to our ever-popular farmer’s market, the fantastic Driefontein garden centre, bean-to-cup Beanstruk Coffee Roastery, Lemon Canary bespoke bakery and rustic Monkey Country Pub.

The kids will be entertained and loads of open space to amble around and walk the dog/kids. Also keep an eye out for their playful group of resident mongooses - These little critters are a great source of joy for kids in particular and one can keep entertained for hours watching their antics and listening to their impressive vocab of squeaks and chirps.

December is litchi time and there’s no better place to get this summer-time favourite than direct and fresh from The Litchi Orchard! The Litchi Orchard is easily accessible, being close to the N2, but it really feels like they are tucked away in the middle of no-where.
